How to Use Social Templates
Social Templates are easy-to-use templates for creating reusable social plans to promote content, events, and more.

Create a Social Template
Only Owners, Managers, and Admins can create new Social Templates.- Open a Social Campaign in a new or existing project.
- Click Templates in the upper left corner.
- When the menu opens, click Create Template.
- Then click +Create New.*
- The Social Template editor will open.
- Add dates and social profiles along with anything else you'd like to include in the template. Changes made in the Social Template editor automatically save.
How to Edit a Social Template
Only Owners, Managers, and Admins can edit a social template.- Open a Social Campaign in a new or existing project.
- Click Templates in the upper left corner.
- Find the Social Template you want to edit, then click the pencil icon.
- The Social Template editor will open.
- Make any changes needed. Changes made in the Social Template editor automatically save.
Add Social Helpers
Social Helpers are pre-built message prompts or copy “placeholders” for text, images, videos, hashtags, and other copy that can be applied to a Social Template. While creating Social Helpers within your Social Template, be sure to keep them empty so that your template is reusable.- Create a Social Campaign or open an existing one.
- Click Templates in the upper left-hand corner.
- Create or Edit a Social Template which will open the Social Template editor.
- Click Create Helper, then choose Text Helper, Image Helper, or Video Helper.
- Name the new helper.
- Add Text Helpers to social messages within the Social Template by typing { on your keyboard. A list of the social helpers within the template will display, along with the default social helpers.
- Add Image or Video Helpers to social messages within the Social Template by clicking the image or video icon. In the screen that opens, select This Template and you can choose between the Image or Video Helpers you've added to the Social Template.
Types of Social Helpers
Default Social Helpers
Default Social Helpers are automatically available in every Social Campaign and Social Template. These helpers are filled when a URL is added to the link field in a Social Campaign.Title

Custom Social Helpers are manually created. These helpers are filled manually in the Social Campaign after the Social Template has been applied. Instead of having to manually type the same text or upload the same image/video to multiple social messages, use custom Social Helpers so that you only have to add the content once.Text
Text Helpers can be added to the body of a social message. Once your Social Template has been applied, this helper can be filled with text that will populate each social message containing the helper.Image
Image Helpers can be added as images in social messages. Once your Social Template has been applied, this helper can be filled with an image that will populate each social message containing the helper.Video
Video Helpers can be added as a video in social messages. Once your Social Template has been applied, this helper can be filled with a video that will populate each social message containing the helper. Back To TopApply A Social Template
To use a Social Template, apply it to any Social Campaign.- Open your desired Social Campaign.
- Click Templates.
- Locate the template you want to use and click on it.
- Click Apply.
- If you are using custom Social Helpers, click Helpers. Fill in your empty custom Social Helpers and any message with custom Social Helpers will then populate with the information added.
- If you are using default Social Helpers, add a URL to the link field and any message with default Social Helpers will then populate with information from the link added.
