Connect an Instagram Business or Creator Account to Your Calendar

Follow the instructions below to connect an Instagram Business or Creator Account to your calendar.

Connect an Instagram Business or Creator Account to Your Calendar

  1. From a private or incognito browser window, log into your calendar and open Settings.
  2. Click the Social Profiles tab, then click Connect Social Profile.
  3. Select Instagram, then click Let's Connect.
  4. Log in using the credentials for the Instagram account you'd like to connect. Note that if you attempt to connect a personal Instagram profile you'll be prompted to convert the account to a business or creator account.
  5. Grant all permissions and follow the prompts until your account is connected.
If you do not see the account you're trying to connect or if you hit an error, please work through the troubleshooting steps in the section below.

Troubleshooting Instagram Business or Creator Account Connection Issues

If you're experiencing difficulties with connecting or reconnecting an Instagram Business or Creator Account, please follow these steps to troubleshoot.

Reconnect Attempt

Try reconnecting your Instagram account to CoSchedule using an incognito or private browser window. Within that browser window, have the Instagram account you're connecting open in a different tab.

Ensure the Instagram Account is a Business or Creator Account

Use the resources from Instagram below to ensure that your Instagram account is set up as a business or creator account.

Check Permission Settings

Ensure the account has accepted all of the permissions that CoSchedule requested when you initially connected or attempted to connect.
  1. Go to  https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/
  2. Click view and edit under the CoSchedule-IG app
  3. Make sure all permissions are enabled

If after following the above steps you're still unable to connect from an incognito or private browser window, it may indicate a more complex issue with Instagram. In such cases, please consult the Instagram Help Center for the most up-to-date information and further assistance.

 

Remove an Instagram Business or Creator Account from Your Calendar

  1. Log into your calendar.
  2. Open Settings, then click the Social Profiles tab
  3. Click on the Business or Creator Instagram Account you'd like to remove from the left-side menu
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Profile from Organization
